Chakudya Nutrition Registry v1.74.0

Dietary assessment - intake analysis, comparison with requirements, dietary gaps (API key, rate-limited)

POST /dietary-assessment · API key required

Takes 1-7 days of intake and returns the average intake of every assessable nutrient against the DRI of the person's life stage, with ranked gaps and excesses. Intake comes from `meals`, `ingredients` (resolved with the same resolver as /meals/analyze, max 40 ingredients in total) or `intake` (nutrient totals, for example the total_nutrients from /meals/analyze, no food lookups). Nutrients with an EAR and RDA are judged below EAR (likely inadequate), between EAR and RDA (borderline) or adequate. Nutrients with only an AI are adequate or possibly low. Sodium is judged against the CDRR as a limit. The UL is flagged on average intake from food. Energy is compared with the caller's `energy_target_kcal` or the IOM EER (weight_kg, height_cm, pal_category). Macronutrient shares are compared with the AMDR for the age, and food-group coverage is reported per day. Each nutrient carries a confidence from the share of foods that have a value, so a low result caused by missing food-table data is marked. Unless `suggest_foods` is false, the foods richest in the top gap nutrients (per 100 g) are added. Eleven nutrients beyond those in /dri/compare are covered (thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, B6, E, pantothenic acid, biotin, phosphorus, selenium, copper, manganese). A screen against reference values, not a diagnosis.
