For numbers from a paper or a table: proportions [{label, events, n}] with intervals; a 2x2 table {a, b, c, d} (a = exposed with the outcome, b = exposed without, c = unexposed with, d = unexposed without) with the measures the design permits; strata [{label, a, b, c, d}] for Mantel-Haenszel pooling, a heterogeneity test and a crude-versus-adjusted comparison; and rates {events_exposed, person_time_exposed, events_unexposed, person_time_unexposed} for a cohort. Counts must be whole numbers. Zero cells get 0.5 added for the ratios and the response says so.
